Investigation of Cardiac Disease
The main techniques used include
- Chest X-ray

- Coronary angiography (coronary catheterisation)
- radionuclide ventriculography
- Thallium/ MIBI scanning
- MRI and MRA
The
radiological investigation of cardiac disease often still includes an initial
chest X-ray as in this case of a breathless patient.
